About Jess

Hi there, thanks for visiting my site! I'm a cartoonist, communications professional and graphic recorder living on Darramuragal land in Sydney.

I specialise in providing powerful visuals and communications for your storytelling challenges.

I have completed a Fellowship with Eucalypt Australia in 2025, and I am a current Writer in Residence at the Botanic Gardens of Sydney in 2026. My cartoons have been published in Guardian Australia, I've provided live-cartooning and graphic recording services at COP28 and COP29, and have worked with many campaigns, organisations and companies to enhance their communications and provide artwork for their projects.

Initially training as a lawyer, I've worked with farmers impacted by coal and gas developments at NSW Farmers Association, on shark conservation at Humane Society International, and most recently on climate change communications for most of the last decade.

I love eucalypts and gum blossoms, I'm a keen bird nerd and I'm very passionate about environmental and social justice.

I believe art can change the world for the better!
